A number of grant schemes have recently opened including a High Street Premises Improvement Grant.  This offers grants of between £2,000 – £5,000 for small scale improvements to premises including replacement shop fronts, windows and doors, awnings, painting, replacement signage/lettering, energy efficiency and accessibility improvements.

Other grants also available include:

Energy Efficiency – grants between £10,000 – £15,000 to support local SME businesses to make energy efficiency or net zero adaptions to their business to make them more sustainable and efficient.

Capital Investment for Skills – grants between £5,000 and £100,000 to enable local training providers and businesses to develop dedicated space or facilities for training and education.
